The Opening Speech of The Second English Festival

（徐、丁）Dear teachers and students : 　　

Good morning ! It’s my great honor to be here to give all of you a speech on the arrangement（安排） for the second English Festival of our School. It is well known that English is the most widely used language in the world. So Learning English is certainly important. The English festival is the best chance for us to exchange and show our study result. Our English festival will be held from Dec. 15 to Dec 25. Our slogan is “To do the most, to show the best”（ 做的最多，展示最好）. There are many activities during the English Festival, such as The English newspaper competition（英语小报比赛）, English Drama Contest（英语情景剧比赛） , The phrase contest（英语词组比赛）, English Songs Competition（英语歌曲大家唱比赛）, "Dub the king" competition（“配音王”比赛）, "Listening Master" game（“听力达人”比赛） and so on. So boys and girls, come on! I’m sure that the activities would be more wonderful with your participation. Now in the end, I wish our English Festival great success. 　　

（丁）同学们：这是我们共同期待已久的英语节日。我们将通过举行系列活动来欢庆这一盛会，让每位同学都能尽情秀出自己的精彩！

你可以在背诵比赛中，与同学们一起激情表演，为班级增光添彩！　　

你可以在词组大赛中，力战群雄，独占鳌头！　　

你可以在我们的英语节上，用优美的舞姿、动听的歌声，传递祝福；用精彩、夸张的表演为大家送上艺术的享受；你可以在丰富多彩的游戏中运用英语、放飞心情！
